Abstract:Discusses the business aspects of golf course development, design and construction. Topics discussed include: the steps in the "critical path" of golf course development; golf course financing; common pitfalls in golf course development; dealing with postponement of work; timing and scheduling of the various stages of development; and contract agreements between the golf course architect, owner, and other members of the development team.
