States that "great golf arrived at French Lick in 1907, courtesy of Tom Bendelow...Bendelow took a casual nine hole affair...and converted it to a 6,056-yard, par-70 layout adjacent to the hotel." Mentions that Number 2, the Hill Course was installed in 1915. States that this course "completing the 18-hole, 6,471-yard, par-72 tract in 1917." States that "John Parker is the superintendent of grounds." Explains that "the major portion of Parker's time in 2006 was taken by the renovation of the Ross course." Notes that plans were found from the original course and states "according to the plans, there has only been one hole changed through all those years and that was only so [they] could build an irrigation lake." Explains that "water quality is a concern, and [they're] currently looking at other ways of providing some water." Notes that Parker is supervising two other projects. Comments on "the undertaking of the Thomas Taggart estate."
