Annotation from
Golf Course Design, by Geoffrey S. Cornish and Michael J. Hurdzan:
"This booklet was painstakingly researched and written prior to the 1995 Ryder Cup, and traces the evolution of the golf holes at Oak Hill through four designers, Donald Ross' 1924 original creation, Robert Trent Jones' mid 1950s improvements, George and Tom Fazio's 1976 redesign of four holes, and finally Craig Schreiner's, ASGCA, restoration in the mid 1990s. It includes course maps from 1923 and 1995, as well as each hole as originally designed and subsequently modified over the years. This is a marvelous journey into the minds and through the time period from wood shaft to graphite and titanium clubs. One can spend hours with the booklet and still feel the design information it offers has not been exhausted." p. 82
